How much Kratom do you usually have?

Since Kratom is relatively cheap and its regulatory future is uncertain, I’m trying to stock up. Currently, I’m sitting at 4 Kg, but would like to increase that to ~10 Kg.

Such stock would last me a couple of years. I can keep consuming the oldest packages while replenishing the stock.

Buying in bulk, I’m trying to find both good price and quality, but that’s not easy …

A couple of years back when it was looking like the FDA was gonna make a move I bought about 10kg and put it in a refrigerated storage unit the family business rents out.

It never got banned and then I had like 10kg of stale kratom I still haven’t gone through.

Depending on your state, I wouldn’t bother. States are passing kratom regulatory laws (good thing. Better kratom is 21 or older and regulated… no more gray area) and it’s becoming too big of a business for the FDA to arbitrarily shut down. The AKA gets stronger every year with every kava bar that opens up.

South Florida has them on every corner these days.

I’m in Europe. In my country, Kratom is still legal, but it’s still difficult to judget future development.

From what I’ve read, well stored Kratom doesn’t go bad for years.

Yes I remember a few years ago someone on /r/kratom did some kind of experiment where they stored kratom in various conditions for a long time and sampled to compare to original values. IIRC with some kind of objective chemical analysis. My recollection is that as long as it is dry it is OK.

I’m sorry for assuming you were in the US. In Europe it might be a good idea. In the US it seems like kratom is getting regulated and “legitimized” but Europe is a whole different beast.

Anyhow, if you have the money and you are dependant on kratom (I know I sure am, lol) then yeah I see no harm in getting a nice stockpile and keeping it for emergency.
