    Not necessarily. It could mean that they thought their client’s best interest was to deny everything because they didn’t think the indictment would go through.

    It could also mean the client was lying to his first lawyers, saying he did nothing wrong. Or it could mean the client is now lying to his new lawyers to save his own ass and strike a plea deal.

    Changing testimonies makes any testimony seem very unreliable if it isn’t backed up by evidence.
