Good pranks are ones that the target of the prank can also laugh at. Smashing an egg on someone’s head is not that. It’s just cruel.

While I agree with your first point, I still think the concern being expressed about this is disproportionate to the harm caused. I’m not saying people should be doing it, just…c’mon, folks, there are more important issues affecting children that deserve your attention. I’d be willing to bet some of the people freaking out about this circumcise their sons.

Laughing at your fucking toddler and shoving a camera in their face is causing harm, troglodyte.

Cracking an egg on your head really hurts at the wrong angle. Doing it to toddlers isn’t ideal, and I think it’s worth at least trying to tell people to stop making videos of it.

Of course it’s not as important as some other things, but we can use that argument for most things and end up with only reporting on children being trafficked or organ harvested.

If I smashed an egg on my sons head, he would be laughing his ass off. That’s the dynamic we have, it’s all in good fun.

The point a lot of people miss, is that when pranks go too far you need to stop and apologize, and make amends. And for god sakes don’t post the video. 🤦🏻‍♂️
