I was using Gnome Online Accounts without any problems for my Google Drive and Calendar. All of a sudden, the drive wasn’t working, something about invalid credentials. This has happened in the past. What would remedy it was deleting the info and resigning in. This time, when I did that, I couldn’t complete the sign in.

I go to System Settings > Online Accounts > Google. When I enter my user name, it gets stuck and doesn’t load the password screen 9 times out of 10. I will retry by closing the window. On the odd occasion it gets to the password screen, it gets stuck there. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

There are a lot of folders in ~/.cache that seem important and I shouldn’t delete, such as cinnamon-setting.py, dconf, flatpak, minstinstall, nvidia, and others. Is there a specific folder in ~/.cache I should delete instead? By the way, I’m not well-educated on the way Linux OSs work in case that’s not obvious. I’m just a casual user.
