I noticed in the Jared Anderson fight later that the referee was very clear about where the belt line was and what was legal or not - I know they do this in all fights, but this seemed particularly explicit - I want to watch the start of the Usyk fight again and see what the ref says.
Judging from the Anderson fight though Dubios’ punch was on the belt line which would be illegal.
That’s fair. I thought Ward was hitting Kovalev low so I guess I’m reasonably consistent.
