I imagine a complete overhaul and rebranding with a tighter leash on the head. There’s no way Putin wouldn’t want a non state military branch at his disposal.
I expect Wagner will be disbanded and integrated into the military (except any remaining leadership).
I kind of doubt it. There’s a lot of value for Russia in being able to say Wagner operates at arms length, even if Russia actually has full control.

Until it tries to march on Moscow. Then it’s not worth the risk. If it stays it will be severely defanged.
