He definitely peaked with the MJF feud. The Hangman feud ended up being kind of awkward, and I honestly thought it was leading up to a Punk heel turn because of how smarmy he came off through it. And ever since then, he’s just disappeared further and further up his own ass.
He was clearly a heel in the Samoa Joe match, but it his promos and the build leading up to it he was playing a face. I guess he decided I’d he got a heel reaction he would just play into it. His current run would be much better if he just committed to it though.
