According to the latest Defence Intelligence update on the situation in Ukraine, which was posted to X (formerly Twitter) by the UK's Ministry of Defence (@DefenceHQ), many of the Russians being called to serve are simply not even willing to fight.
It turns out that our best rival was a paper Tiger, and that we were competing with ourselves the entire time. I guess the real weapon systems were the friends we made along the way. 
Can you blame them? The USA has been developing their weapon systems for the past 60 years in response this exact “Russian Horde” scenario.
