Everyone working in a hospital is a healthcare worker. Everyone working in school is school staff. Scientist is a broad term not linked to a specific position there is no need for gate keeping. Moreover that lady just got literally published on Nature that is quite an accomplishment.
Getting published in Natur because you play sports on a world class level and coincidentally also happen to work with science is not exactly an accomplishment. The world class playing is the actual accomplishment there.
Anyway, to me this article is nonsense. There are countless scientists doing amazing stuff with actual science. Spend time reporting about them. Leave sports to sports magazines.
I think so. People doing science=scientists. Paid or unpaid, high on the ladder or at the bottom.
So everyone in a hospital is a medic? Everyone in a school a teacher?
Does really not sound right.
