I am confused on how all this works. I can’t join because I’m on lemmy not that other one. But I can’t find the search function to put the thing it gave me in.
Which instance are you on? And if you’re trying to search on jerboa you can’t, you have to do it from the website

Yes I may have only gone to the site to register if that and didn’t know. I can’t view my own posts in jerboa but I can on the site.
Weird that you can’t view your own posts. I was having issues with the app from the playstore so I downloaded the one off FDroid and it’s much more updated with far fewer bugs. You could try that or the one off their GitHub.
I got that figured out too. This place counts your own posts as read, even in your own profile, and if you have “hide read posts” set, if literally hides all read posts, no exceptions.
I always hid read posts on reddit to get them out of my feed, and I guess you can’t really do that here. Not sure how I’m going to navigate now, but I can see my posts again.
