minus-squareedriclinkfedilinkEnglish7•1 year agoThe article says the electric ebrake can’t be disabled if there’s no power, so they couldn’t push it. I guess it automatically activates when the car is turned off? 9 hours to get a tow truck is still weird though.
minus-square@AlchemylinkEnglish7•1 year agoI’m guessing they needed a tow truck that could lift the car in the air and then onto a platform, or one with wheel dollies. I’d prefer them to just drag that hunk of garbage out of the way, in gear and brakes on.

Can you get the car in neutral once it dies in gear?
