    reminds me of the time when an artist, protesting defending architecture, created a public park bench with spikes that would retract for a little while if you inserted money in - a commentary on intentionally not allowing the homeless places to sleep comfortably.

    then people came along and were like “that’s amazing, can you install them in my park?”.

    someone would look at this and go “i see an opportunity to use this on someone! if they’re stuck here turning crank and they can’t afford to stop…adverts, paid promotions…etc”

      I didn’t know about that. That’s just horrible.
