Every Russian soldier who goes along with this blatantly illegal and immoral invasion absolutely has earned a spot in Ukraine’s soil, pushing up sunflowers, and will not stop meriting such a reward until they leave Ukraine’s soil.

However, it is also important to remember that most of them are not inherently sick fucking psychopaths. Most of them are the desperate, the damaged, and the deluded. They live in a society that preys on them with a cruelty that puts other modern countries to shame. They are beaten like dogs, and like beaten dogs, they become fearful and vicious. Russia’s first and greatest crime today is the invasion and genocide of Ukraine and Ukrainians. But its second greatest crime is the way that it brutalizes its own people, all of their lives, and manipulates them into becoming accomplices to their nation’s crimes. Nichevo, after all.
