Wow there are so many adaptations of 三体 now! Tencent has an entire series available on YouTube (and Tencent Video), and there’s apparently an animated version of what I presume to be the second book, somewhere. I only know this through one of the artists I like making the outro song for it.
I rather thought that the animated version would be the one coming to Netflix, but it seems to be a third thing altogether.
Very excited! A bit sad it’s in English though, but I guess it makes it more approachable.
Hm, maybe. Given that the voiceover is entirely in English, I kind of assumed it would just be entirely in English. Benedict Wong is an English actor after all.
He looks like a really good fit for Da Shi though, pretty much exactly what I pictured Shi to look like. I’m very excited!
