Ha sorry that was the old Apollo Reddit reflex coming in, I reversed it. I mean I’m not sure either, just like you I’m also just hoping! Our backlines at Bayern are seriously shot and if we don’t get him that’s bleak…

Haha fair enough. Honestly we already have a solid backline, he would be the final piece, along with a goalkeeper. You guys probably need him more

The fans are hoping he leaves. He’s been terrible at two things for his entire career. Controlling the box and distributing the ball. When he was an elite shot stopper, it was less of an issue. Now that his shot stopping has come back down to average, he’s actively losing matches for us while being paid 350k per week. He makes at least twice as much money compared to any other goalkeeper. It’s wild.

Wow that is wild, I didn’t know he was earning quite that much. He won’t be wanting to leave with a salary like that though. We’re also not super happy on the goalkeeper front, Neuer was really good and stable but then he went and broke his leg skiing… now he’s quite old (football terms) and nobody knows what will happen with him. On the other hand Sommer isn’t world class…

Fingers crossed for your next season, hope you can beat City.

So sad that they won the treble, but comforted by the fact that it will never mean as much as ours did. Ok there are two English clubs to ever win the treble, how did they do it? Our story still dominates that conversation.
