From memory, my credit card is only good for 30-40 days or so to initiate chargeback. So waiting 6 weeks for a response would render it useless… That’s why I would have initiated credit card chargeback.
PayPal came through! Just got a notification that refund was initiated this morning, now waiting for it to go through to my CC. PayPal resolved that way quicker than I expected.
