Twenty-three civil society organisations have warned of 'a devastating humanitarian crisis' unless the block placed by Republican lawmakers on aid destined for Palestinians is lifted. As many as ...
OK, but if the rest of the world actually cared, then they would step in to provide the aid that the US has stopped, rather than taking the hypocritical route of blaming the US for ending its aid. What credit did the US get for providing the aid in the first place?
Yes we should help, but foreign aid should not be expected indefinitely, regardless of the source or the original reason for it. Haiti is well worth reading about, as more than a decade of foreign aid has done little to actually fix their problems, and has helped to entrench corruption in the government there. There has to be a way out, the foreign aid has to stop sometime.
And ultimately, I think it is massively hypocritical to cast blame on the US or any country for providing aid for a time and then eventually stopping that aid. If this is the result then why would any country ever help another, if they’re just going to get flak for not providing that help forever?
Why does everyone blame America for problems in the world? /s

The US has provided billions of dollars in aid toPalestinee, primarily through USAID and UNRWA. This is absolutely the right thing to do when there is a humanitarian crisis, but my question in all such cases is what is the exit plan?

It happens. Coincidentally, Pakistan wants to be India, and India wants to be Bharat. So, eventually you’ll be right, given enough time.
Edit: The Pakistan situation is also relevant. Source
