Because the rest of us are poor sods who can’t afford a $3000 espresso machine. Big envy.

Haha sorry, on the other website this setup sometimes felt average at best :D I don’t want to come across as a rich asshole, I’m not poor but definitely lower middle class here :D To be fair it’s not $3000, closer to 2000€ which is still an absolutely insane luxury for the average person, I admit. I obsessed over the Bianca for years as my ultimate upgrade, I saved for close to a year to afford it :)

“fun” fact: I got covid the day I received it, and spent 4 months learning it while being totally unable to taste or smell anything.

Ain’t that an absolute f****er! I got new coffee beans from a local roaster, and got anosmia for a week, then parosmia for about 4 months after that, the day they arrived. Missed the pique period for that roast because of it. While not the same, I feel your pain. Anyway, nice setup! Thanks for sharing!

Seriously this is the worst. Have you fully recovered? Some days I feel my senses are back to normal, but some days they feel super easy to overwhelm and saturate.

I went to a wine tasting with friends a few months ago, I couldn’t taste or smell anything after wine 3 when before covid I could taste 10 wines in a row before feeling saturated.
