In addition to the obvious outrage, pay attention, too, to how hard the Philadelphia PD is working to make sure you don’t know what happened. It’s been almost a month, and they still haven’t shown anyone but themselves the bodycam footage.

They promised to show the video to the dead man’s family, but then said, nah.

We still wouldn’t know what had happened, if not for a neighbor with a security cam running.

It obliterates the old canard that “one bad apple doesn’t spoil the whole bunch,” when the whole bunch is doing all they can to protect the bad apple.

    It’s actually “One bad apple spoils the bunch”, so it’s very accurate.

      I’m embarrassed to admit that I learned the line from The Osmonds but Google tells me they got it wrong.

      “One bad apple spoils the bunch” is better and truer, whether apples or cops.
