They are not wrong, first time I saw a BLT or Burger I was like damn that looks good. I wouldn’t say it’s “Worthless” but it does take some major eating for it to make a difference without the right skills.

I’d rather the food give a smaller, but much longer lasting bonus. Something that would last a whole exploration session and planet visit
I agree this is the ideal way to handle it. I’m sure mods will fix it but hopefully Bethesda does. I’m sure we got a plethora of updates and content coming in its future.
