      Surprisingly untrue. Catholic schools in my experience often have excellent curriculums.

          They do those things well too. You’re probably thinking of Bible belt religious schools.

        There are a few Catholic schools close to my house; far superior than the public schools of even the suburbs around here. (However, our city public schools are a joke.)

        The idea that they don’t teach evolution, etc. is an extremist view that probably mixes the reality of a specific US region with the crap they heard off the media.
