It’s been six weeks since we launched Super Rumble in Meta Horizon Worlds. It’s the first of many experiences to come that leverage improved graphics, deeper gameplay, and quests and rewards systems to reimagine what Worlds can be. Today, we’re excited to build on that momentum and introduce Citadel—an expansive adventure game in Meta Horizon Worlds.
I’ve played it a bit and I think it’s somewhat comparable yeah. For something that’s made with in game tools (and if that means anyone has the tools to do something similar) it’s a big step up from before. But it’s far from what a standalone game could be like. And I think rec room games feel nicer.
But let me know what you think as soon as you had a look, I’m curious :)
I haven’t played it for too long, but shallow sounds about right. I found the platforming to be a bit underwhelming since you could blast yourself anywhere. And I tried to kill myself to get back to the menu but I just kept respawning. Not sure if that’s intended.

Played with my buddy for about 30 minutes today, we liked it. Pretty shallow but maybe it expands a bit later on.
