So all other current and past forms of market system did not have people getting payed for doing evil shit? That is a very bold claim. Just looking at places like China or north Korea today is enough to show just how far from reality that is.

That’s obviously a strawman you dunce. Although it’s funny you mentioned China as they have socialised healthcare, so yeah, toddlers actually aren’t getting sold out by insurance providers there.

How is it a strawman? What else was the point if not what I rephrased? Instead of correcting me, all you say is essentially “your are wrong”.

As for China: They lock people upand let them burn in their homes because they want no COVID. They give absolutely zero shit about any random toddler. The only thing China cares about is their image.

It’s quite simple, I never said: “All other current and past forms of market system did not have people getting payed for doing evil shit” I simply said that the free market incentivises bad behaviour. Do you see the difference?

As for China, those burnt up toddlers still aren’t being denied health insurance! So this just seems like a reductive, sensationalist example of “whataboutism”.

So it has something to do with free market, but also happens in other market forms and also unrelated to market forms?

Oh yes, poor north Korea, only suffers because of sanctions and has no other choice but to let it’s people starve since every last bit of resource needs to go into the military.
