      Yeah, that’s not what misappropriation means. No one club gets to own a word in as common of use as ally. People have allys. Nations have allys. Various groups allys. You need to settle down and stop trying to own something nobody can own.

          Again, I don’t care what team/community/orientation/gender/race or even species you align with, you don’t get to own the word. That’s not how things work in any language.

      I thought ally was an intersectional term? That is, it applies to support for any people with any characteristics that might be discriminated against.
