    So if r/gunners were to maliciously comply with the Reddit overlords as a protest, would the subreddit vote to post sexy Wenger pics instead of John Oliver? 🤔

      @EFG should consider this tbh

        Yeah but I doubt our brethren would vote for it, “iT dOesN’t CoNceRn me AnD I nEeD the kArMa fRoM mY cLickbAit transfer post! This is stupid!”

        I actually think it’s pretty cool the other subs are doing it, spez isn’t going to do anything but at least it floods Reddit with stuff they can’t actually sell to data miners.

          Lemmy turned out to be a pretty good alternative. Reddit is only going to keep getting worse.

          I am actually enjoying the lack of a karma system on Lemmy and the absence of data miners too.

          Yea, I think this whole fiasco has shown which mods have the balls to stand up for what they believe in and which ones crumble because they want to hold on to their little Internet power. I think Moist Critical said it best in his YouTube video - some mods folded so quickly as soon as it seemed like their subs might get taken away.

          @Astrealix I believe it’s their username followed by @ and then the instance they are on. Not going to actually tag them but I think it would be @ EFG @ Lemmy.world

            Yea, it’s a bit janky on the apps but in desktop it auto fills it for you hence why you see inconsistent tagging.
