As for me, I have a Core i3 10100 with 4GB of RAM and a 1TB HDD with no GPU. I really scraped as much money as I could (this PC cost around $200) and I’m more than happy because it can run many older games perfectly fine which I never even dreamed of running on my old PC…!
When I upgraded my PC I gave special consideration to the power consumption of the system.
The kind of games I play do not require a 600W power source, so I went with a AMD Ryzen laptop with a 65W power brick.
It is quiet, doesn’t warm up much and I can take it with me anywhere. I’m very happy with my choice.
