I disagree, I’m sure she went on plenty of dates with good looking men that she didn’t follow up on because their personality was a bust. I don’t think initially asking someone out because you find them attractive is wrong, it’s an important factor in a relationship. It’s not like she asked Eita to marry her, she just told him her intent was for to find a serious relationship, may as well be honest up front in case he’s not looking for the same thing.

Added bonus is he’s friends with her friend so there’s a good chance he’s not a creep.
