When I was playing with chatgpt he told me this:

From what is says it can be harmful.

I know chatgpt is sometimes wrong, but found only one source (Dr. Levi Harrison) that agrees and nothing more.

    Guys…

    It’s for trackball mice. I have a thumb trackball mouse myself, the Logitech MX Ergo.

    But yes, I agree I would never have mouse acceleration enabled for a standard mouse that you physically move around.
