I heard u/spez the CEO, moderated r/jailbait, which upon research is a now defunct sub that specialized in questionable images of questionable age that should have been illegal. I could be wrong, but that is what I heard.
At the time anyone could be promoted to mod position without their consent. He did not ask for it, removed himself from the position as soon as he saw he had it, then not too long after you had to accept the position of mod. However, fuck u/Spez.
