I have never seen such an arrow but does it even matter?
I just go to the 1st free pump, no matter which side. The hoses are made that long that you can fill in left or right. I just park a bit further ahead, so the hose can pass behind the car to the other side.
If you park far enough forward, nobody can access the pump in front of you.
