I’m not sure I buy the logic of “if amazon’s interested in my promotion, they must be interested in WWE.” Amazon might be willing to invest a few million for a few years of a studio production like Lucha Underground, but not interested in bidding hundreds of millions for the rights to WWE.
I agree with that if his statement were just based on conjecture alone, but I think he was commenting on rumors that already existed. I think it was the NY Post that originally said Amazon and Disney would be interested.
