Lots of liberals in the south have had their vote suppressed so badly it’s nearly impossible for them to vote. Long lines, and no time off for the working class forces people to not vote.
“Hard” is not the same as “impossible”. Saying it’s impossible to vote is an insult to people in the Civil Rights Movement who literally risked their lives for these basic rights.
It’s a question of priorities. These are the states that allow early voting or voting by mail:
