I’m heavily invested in sports. Literally everything when it comes to my team gets posted there first. There’s just no other way to get the content.

I suppose I could visit 20 pages a day and be on the lookout, but I’d miss the most interesting things, the discussion. Unfortunately they only happen there.

I can imagine many are in my situation, but with other hobbies.

Same here. I curate the shit out of my feed so it’s only sports. The people I follow the second any start getting political I block them.

Don’t worry, musk has floated taking away the block feature, soon there will be no way to avoid the politics and just focus on what you love.

You will see the hate, you will see the anger, you will engage. Resistance is futile

Meh. I’ll just leave at that point… my team’s news will make its way to me eventually

I wonder how much you could move those feeds to RSS.

I could move most news to RSS, but that would also mean an overflow of news and getting the same tidbit from 15 outlets. But regardless, so much of the great content and thoughts is user based. And that content I couldn’t get through RSS. And in all honesty, that content is much more interesting and valuable.
