Bill Maher announced Monday that he will not, in fact, return to work on his HBO show Real Time With Bill Maher while the writers strike is ongoing.

And yet, I still hate Bill Maher.

The fact that they had to backpedal means they pedaled with intent and effort. We’ve been seeing too much of this tone-deaf behavior, damage control and media spin from too many places lately.

Don’t resort to ad hominem attacks against another user or insult other people, examples of violations would be going after the person rather than the stance they take.

If we feel the comment is uncalled for we will remove it. Stay civil and there won’t be problems.
