The new dress code, implemented by Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, will allow Sen. John Fetterman to wear his trademark casual attire like hoodies and shorts on the Senate floor.

The candid reviews of the new rules, which went into effect Monday, even included mockery from Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, who joked to reporters that she planned to “wear a bikini” on Tuesday.

I’d bet a lot of money some conservative said something similar about “certain dignity” when the first woman senator was elected.
