minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink2•2 years agoI’m on Lemmy.one and noticed this as well, if I understand this correctly, sometimes if your instance doesn’t recognise the community in search it’s because no one has searched that from your instance before. It could take a few goes of reloading the page and search again for it to work. I recently searched for Sydney community from my instance and nothing came up until like the 8th try.
minus-square@T156link1•2 years agoSometimes, no-one on the instance has subbed yet, so it won’t show up. You might need to put an exclamation mark on the front to have it come up (to make the server check for other servers, rather than what’s just been synced).
