I think humans becoming immortal would be awful. Think about the people who would want to live forever. Awful, bigoted old farts in government would never die and progress would stagnate.

I think the reason life is so beautiful is that it’s not permanent. If we were immortal, I’d imagine we’d actually be slightly more sane, less greedy and hateful. We wouldn’t even be human, we’d be ufos or smth crazy lol.
