They may have expected it to fail, but it is an honorable thing to do regardless. I also agree that it shared too many similarities with the existing prayers which meant that it didn’t bring much in the way of new gameplay. Maybe in a few months to a year we will get new content where a future iteration of the prayers can interact with it in interesting ways.
