Checks? Who still uses something like that? Let alone for large sums… And then sending it via post?!?!
I’m a mail carrier in Canada delivering to a lot of farmers and some businesses. A large percentage of the mail I deliver are cheques. And many of those have windows that are just a little too large and show the amounts. Generally they are under $1000, but some are in the 10s of thousands. You wouldn’t believe the amount of money I personally move around.
Crazy.
Yeah still happens, some businesses only give the best terms for checks, others only deal in checks altogether.
