I’ve never had that feeling tbh, but I think it’s similar to how I feel about a game like Jedi Survivor. Loved the first one, but the second one at launch wasn’t optimized so I planned to wait for a performance patch. Now that it’s patched up I get to wait for a sale to hop in! The benefits of a backlog is it makes me a patient gamer.
Same for waiting for DLC to be included, you’ll likely get it at discount. But that being said, if you’re excited and the reviews are good, I say hop right in!
