California cannot ban gun owners from having detachable magazines that hold more than 10 rounds, a federal judge ruled Friday.

The decision from U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez won’t take effect immediately. California Attorney General Rob Bonta, a Democrat, has already filed a notice to appeal the ruling. The ban is likely to remain in effect while the case is still pending.

This is the second time Benitez has struck down California’s law banning certain types of magazines. The first time he struck it down — way back in 2017 — an appeals court ended up reversing his decision.

Well the first step is always that they find a gun. Sometimes bought for it specifically, sometimes they already had it and its waitin there for them to have a bad day. A guy in japan finds out his fiance is having an affair, hes gonna have a much harder time getting to a gun as outlet for short term anger.

Of all the formerly fascist states that have a millennia long tradition of beating their peasants into the ground until they don’t even realize they should be rebellious, you picked the one where a dude assassinated a far right, genocide denying, exploitation cult-supporting ex-PM with a homemade shotgun.

“Oh yeah, they had one gun death, so checkmate”

Theyve got basically the lowest homicide rate in the world. Ill pick them as my ideal for gun control results any day of the week.
