I’ve beaten him three times now, but my god he is terrifying and hard to kill at lower levels. My 55 barb just pastes him into a wall, but I was just playing my lvl 22 necro and he almost killed me multiple times.

TIL this is a thing, it has not happened to me at all.
Reminds me of old school Diablo in that he just appears randomly in dungeons out of the blue. He’s relentless and hard to kill.
If it’s anything like what happens to me you’ll try to escape only to get murdered mercilessly. I just accept my fate and get it over with now.

After I learned he existed he started popping up for me in like every 5th dungeon 😂
