I literally cried at one point in the first few episodes. It felt so real, so “classic trek” and I just needed that SO BAD I didn’t even realize how starved I was for it. I’m not going to sit here saying its the greatest thing ever, but it is exactly what I need right now after years (decades?) of my favorite franchises getting shat on by studio execs.
