I’ve beaten him three times now, but my god he is terrifying and hard to kill at lower levels. My 55 barb just pastes him into a wall, but I was just playing my lvl 22 necro and he almost killed me multiple times.

I have only beat him once of the four times I’ve seen him since release. Was on a sorc, and was doing laps around a pillar while my hydra wore him down. Felt like a 15 minute fight. And I feel like there were 11 potions used. All in the name of trying to stay away from him.
Kiting the Butcher is definitely a thing.
