I heard a lot of people say that the Duel variant is the better game.
There is also 7 Wonders or Agricola with full games and duel version. Which one do you prefer?

I like both but duel is much stronger. And I agree that, at least for the one we have, expansions are not worth adding
I’d strongly disagree with this, Pantheon is pretty much a must in my opinion. In the base game you’re forced to take s card each turn, but pantheon gives you other options, adding an extra layer of strategy to which cards you draw, and using the other actions at a good time to force your opponent to take one you don’t want. I loved the base game, but I can never imagine playing without Pantheon now. Agora I’ve not played, but I’ve heard it’s nothing special.
