Seems that way. I hope they end up getting the MMR stuff through in time for winter. My biggest complaint is that the MMR has felt really bad lately.

Yeah. Ever since the mmr changes during the event I started playing less and less. No fun getting spanked for hours just because you had a good game or two. Haven’t touched the game since before the event ended, honestly.

It’s brutal; I think it’s a mix of the MMR changes they made and (possibly more so) the necro self revive.

I’m fine with necro self revive, but if you get killed 6 times to a lower skilled player and loose a bunch of your MMR (because you revived and immediately got downed while they were body camping you…) that’s a problem. Basically, I think the necro self revive is causing high skill players to have these huge drops in their MMR … and that’s leading to people with crazy high KDRs that are far too skilled for their MMR bracket.

I don’t think so, for a while after the self res was introduced we were doing fine. Halfway through this last event I read that Crytek has loosened upper mmr ranges. Which I can see, because all of a sudden we were getting matched with players with good KD, and their playstyle attested to that . Not bush campers, but people with good rotations and aim.

I don’t know, it was a few weeks after the self res changes but before the MMR changes when I noticed it starting to get worse. More and more people with 1.5+ KDR in the 3-4 star bracket
