Communism, as practiced, is inherently fascist. Its essentially state slavery, because if you don’t work, you will be sent to labor camps where you will work. The workers do not consent.

        as practiced

People who agree with communism “as practiced” are usually ridiculed by others on lemmy, from what I’ve seen.

Well you won’t be thrown in a work camp. You can beg, go to soup kitchens, go innawoods, do whatever.

If you refuse to work in a communist country, they will make you work, or just execute you.

Depends if he is smart enough to invest his money in a way that will allow him to live comfortably. In communism you are not allowed to do that.

So do you think everyone- or at least the vast majority of people could do this all simultaneously? If they were all smart enough?

            Who then would work?

Average is never enough, you have to be above average in order to achieve that. (or extremely lucky, but that’s just that, an extreme). If the whole population was highly intelligent we would have achieved luxury space communism by now, but unfortunately that’s impossible to achieve just yet.

So then are all working class persons just not smart enough, is that what you’re saying? That the small minority of people who can afford to not work are just better, while those who work could stop if only they were smarter?
