/s I don’t really know but I assume they weren’t paying attention and over-reacted when they realised they were hurtling up on the guy in front. You can see they would be close-ish to the car in front by their positions and speeds at the start of the video. It’s my best guess.

Good guess, that could be it. I can’t imagine just locking up the brakes like that though.
