reddit is panicking, trying to claw in anything they can before they have nothing.
That’s the part that doesn’t make much sense.
Wasn’t the idea of this to make more money? If he has to hire people to moderate forums, that’s literally a worse position then paying moderators nothing.
They think they’ll find other volunteers and they think they’ll be just as good.
He probably wasn’t getting the ad revenue from nsfw post.
users are like sand. the harder they grasp for it, the more it slips through their fingers.
I don’t like sand. It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.
