If you’re seeing this for the first time, welcome! If you’ve been here since July, welcome back!

If you have friends still over on Reddit, please share this community with them. Not only has /R/ made a third-party ad-free experience impossible, the latest updates on the official app include more advertising and data collection.

Please, if you believe in the free exchange of ideas on the internet, bring as many people to Lemmy as you can.

“There’s no content here…” Post something! Ask a question. Topic-related memes are okay. News, general interest, and questions related to the fraternity are also allowed.

Well said. The pricing that Narwhal is forced to charge due to Reddit’s API terms is not sustainable for those who use Reddit moderately throughout the day.

Ultimately we must spread the word about Lemmy and show people they can choose where to create their content. I’d much prefer to create content here.

I was happily using Infinity for Reddit. Once that was gone I tried the official /R/ App and it’s honestly not a good experience. Neither is the browser. Thankfully most of my reddit subs created matching communities on Lemmy.
